If you ask anyone to describe the great state of Kentucky, odds are theyâll most likely answer you with âBourbon and horses,â but if you ask Rosie May, the only thing sheâll ever respond with is âDerby hats.â
Big hats. Small hats. Elaborate hats. Simple hats. You name it, she loves them all. Every. Single. One. Because of this, sheâs always known she would one day own a Derby hat store. At twenty-five, sheâs back in her hometown of Louisville, and her dream has finally come true. With the season officially underway, her brand-new shop is gorgeous, the inventory is stocked, and sheâs ready to go. Her only problem is William Stokes Whitlock III.
Stokes is tall, insanely handsome, heir to one of the largest thoroughbred farms, and her best friendâs brother. Heâs also annoying, incredibly boring, arrogant, and for over half of her life, her sworn enemy. Only now, it seems he needs a favor. As for why, he wonât say.
For two months, sheâll be his girlfriend, and in return heâll use his society status to help promote her new shop. Seems simple enough, right? Wrong. She thinks his timing couldnât be worse, but the way he sees it, itâs the best. The best for whoâthatâs to be determined.
How do they pretend to be in love when all theyâve ever felt is hate? Can she do this? Can they? Especially knowing itâs fake . . . or is it?
Can Rosie set aside what she thinks she knows of the boy from her past to see the man standing in her present? With her heart at stake, she has to decide if sheâs willing to go against the odds to place the biggest bet of them all . . . on love.
It is no secret that I am a huge fan of Kathryn Andrews and her books. There is just something about the way that she creates her characters and stories that gives me everything. The vibrancy and personalities of her characters, the way her words bring it all to life, the way she captures the feels and the swoon and the pure connection of her charactersâŚitâs just the best.
And let me tell yâall, Hats Off to Love is Kathryn Andrews at her best.
It is exceptionally written and crafted, and every word and page just pulls you in more. It is fun, effervescent, and just full of life and color and more personality than you can shake a stick at! Itâs charming and swoony and so dang sweet. Itâs a story that has so much heart, such true connection, and a lot of heart that will pull you in fiercely to these characters. This book truly has it all, and I canât stop smiling when I think about all that I got with these characters along the way.
Simply put, this book was absolutely fantastic from start to finish and it is a book that you need in your life this very second.
Hats Off to Love has it all.
Fake dating. Check. Frenemies to LoversâŚ.check check. Best friendâs brotherâŚ.check check check. Southern charm and so much swoonâŚ.all the checks.
This book was utterly amazing. From the very first page I was consumed, I wanted and needed more, and I had to get it all with Rosie and Stokes. Those two definitely kept me on my toes, and boy was I there for every second of it. They definitely knew how to push each other to the edge, and I was there for every bit of them dancing around the world of feeling and connection they had for one another. Those two will give you it all, and I promise you that they will both make it well worth the journey they go on together.
Hats Off to Love brings you into the heart of the Kentucky Derby season and into the world of southern high society, where the gossip is strong and the hats are even bigger.
This book follows Rosie and Stokes, two people who love to hate each other and push every button possible. Theyâve known each other since childhood, and have been bothering each other ever since. So when Stokes comes to Rosie with an offer for them to pretend to be together, Rosie doesnât know what to do with him or the offer. Sheâs an up and coming boss babe who is ready to take on Derby season, and heâs a local well known wealthy bachelor who always says the one thing ready to annoy her. Heâs her best friendâs brother, and despite him annoying the hell out of her at times, she canât help but feel a certain pull to him. She decides to take him up on his offer of fake dating because she canât resist the opportunity to get help with her business and despite their well known animosity, she trusts Stokes.
What ensues between them in this book is fake dating, frenemies to lovers, goodness. This book is chalk full of moments that make these two question what is really happening between them and where itâs going. What started off as something fake, something to mutually benefit them both, soon becomes way more than either of them bargained for. Which leads both Stokes and Rosie to decide whatâs real, whatâs fake, and what could be.
Kathryn Andrews does the most phenomenal job of bringing this book and story to life in the most vibrant and enjoyable way. From page one I was invested in this story and rooting for these characters, and the more I got with them, the more I NEEDED them to give their hearts to one another. I loved how she created such life and vibrancy with Rosie and Stokes that they felt so real to me. These characters became a part of me as I read their story. I got to know them in every way, I fell in love with them hard and fiercely, and I just became so invested in what could be for them.
The way that Kathryn Andrews pours it all into Rosie and Stokes makes this book the absolute best to read and experience. I think I smiled through every page, had my heart melt and swoon the more the story continued, and just loved these characters through it all. That is all a testament to what this author creates in this book, and it really speaks to how Kathryn Andrews creates her books and stories and characters that I felt all that I did while reading it.
This book just felt so good to read and experience. It made my heart happy, it gave me all the feels, and it gave me a love story that I will never forget. It was equal parts fun, feisty, and fantastic from beginning to end. And it also just shows you that even your wildest dreams are possible if you take a chance, if you believe in yourself and those around you, and if you just go for it heart first.
Simply put, I loved everything about Hats Off to Love by Kathryn Andrews.
This book immersed me in a heart touching romance that made me blush, made me swoon, and that made me feel it all, all while giving me one hell of a love story. This book gave me a romance of two people with a searing connection that will pull them both into something more real than they could ever imagine. This story swept me up into its magical grasp, into a world of southern charm, derby hats and fast races, business dealings, and more vibrancy than I could have ever imagined. This book delivered an exceptional story of how something fake, soon became something so very real and something that was so much more than these characters could have ever bargained forâŚand that more, well it was everything.
Rosie and Stokes will give you it all in this book. Trust me. They will make you work for it at times, but you will love it and you will love them. You will love how they take this lively and connection filled journey together as they embark on a fake relationship that soon becomes something very real. You will love how deep things become between them and how that makes them both question everything theyâve ever felt and known about one another. You will love the banter and the spirit filled moments that are the heart of this book. You will love how honest and real things become between them and how that leads them to something truly unexpected, yet something so utterly beautiful.
You will just love them. You will love every single moment and morsel you get with them along the way, and more than that, you will just love you get to feel and live it all as they see what could be. And I promise you, they wonât disappoint you. Not one little bit.
Kathryn Andrews has done it again in Hats Off to Love. She brings it all to this story and makes it the most enjoyable read from beginning to end. This is a love story that I know I will not soon forget. It was everything I needed and more, and it has firmly cemented itself as one of my top reads of the year, and a sure favorite from this author. This book had it all, the love, the swoon and spice, the connection and pull, some serious charm, and lots and lots of fabulous hats.
What more could you want? Absolutely nothing. Trust me.

The Fake Holidate by Amie Knight had it all!
Fake dating. Check. Office romance. Check. Enemies to lovers. Check. Christmas Shenanigans. Check check. All the glorious spice and funâŚcheck check mother effing check.
This novella was the PERFECT holiday read. It was all kinds of fun and spicy and heart meltingly good. It truly had everything I needed and more with Clover and Nick. Those two will definitely give you a run for your money, and you will love every single second of it. Those two and their antics, banter, and fiery connection will give you life and you will just bask in it. Seriously.
This holiday novella is all about Clover. You see Cloverâs sister is marrying Cloverâs ex, and now she has to go back home to Sugar Mountain for the big day. But she obviously canât show up alone, right? Right. Thatâs where her enemy coworker shows up. Nick and Clover have been cubicle mates for a year. He is the epitome of hot, but he also likes to push every one of Cloverâs buttons. But Nick is about to shock the hell out of Clover when he offers to be her fake boyfriend for her sisterâs wedding. Clover reluctantly agrees and thatâs when all the fun begins!
Clover and Nick have the BEST banter and connection. Itâs fiery, full of so much fantastic tension, and it will have you needing those two to kiss it out already. Letâs just say those two know how to push each otherâs buttons in the best way. But more than that, those two also start to feel a whole lot of things for one another over the course of this novella. And that is when the swoon and heart melting comes inâŚand itâs everything. Nick will have Clover questioning whatâs real, whatâs fake, and what is really happening between them, and that is just the start of what makes this novella so good. Trust me.
These two deliver it all in this Christmas novella that is equal parts fun, festive, and freaking fantastic!
Amie Knight brings you to the small mountain town of Sugar Mountain, with some incredible characters that you will love in an instant. And letâs just say that I will be counting down the days until I get to go back to Sugar Mountain. This world is my new happy place and I canât wait for more!
You will love this story just as much as I did, and you will be cheering on Nick and Clover right from the start. Trust me on that. And it just keeps getting better and better the more you read with their incredible chemistry, hilarious banter, and incredibly sweet moments that will melt your heartâŚamong other things. Those two will truly own your heart with what they give you in this story, and itâs the actual best.

*****5 Absolutely Incredible Stars*****
Natasha Boyd continues to be an author who I can count on for an epic and unforgettable and all feeling romance that I will truly treasure. I have read and loved every single one of her books. They are utterly incredible, truly breathtaking and beautiful, and they have given me some of the most epic love stories I have ever experienced. They are truly more in the best way and I really donât have enough words to really capture what itâs like to experience one of her love stories. They are just that unforgettable and outstanding and utterly amazing to experience.
Stolen English was yet another example of why this author is one of my all-time favorites.
This book was captivating from the very first word. It was bursting with such vibrancy and personality from these characters, and that combined with the fiery connection that was ready to topple them both over in every moment, was literally everything. Combine that with the beautiful setting of this book, the phenomenal characters that make up this world and this family, and throw in just everything that Evan and Andrea were building between them, and you have the making of a perfect love story.
I loved every word of this book. I loved being back in this world with characters that I fell so hopelessly in love with when I was reading Broken French. I loved getting to see Evan and Andrea fight like hell against everything they were feeling, only to feel that glorious tension and build up and connection build and build and build to the point of no return. I loved that underneath these characters taking chances and pushing each other away and figuring out what they wanted, that you always knew it was the two of them. You knew through every word and every turn of that page that they were meant to be together. That they had to find a way to love. That they had to get that happily ever after that they both so deserved.
Feeling and needing that with every breath in my body through every word of this book is honestly just a scratching the surface of what I loved about Stolen English and everything that I got with Evan and Andrea.
Those two definitely make you work for it, but let me tell you, that work is so damn worth it. In those moments when these to push each other to the edge, when they make each other want things they donât think are possible, when they make each other want more, you feel the truth and the vulnerability and the honesty of all of that. You feel everything with them. You feel how theyâre putting their hearts on the line for the one person who truly means everything. You feel how even though they might be scared out of their minds to take that next step, they also need that next step like they need their next breath. And getting to be in the midst of that tension and build up and connection and that push in that pole as they thought to get to where they did in this book⌠It was truly everything.
Natasha Boyd does the most outstanding job of letting you live this book with these characters in a way that remind you why she is such a gifted and talented writer and storyteller. I felt it all in this book. I felt Evan struggle with the changes going on in his dynamic with Andrea, his struggle with his feelings towards her, his struggles with everything that comes to light in this book, and his struggle to stay away from the one person he has always wanted.
I connected deeply to Andreaâs story of gaining her life and independence back after being on the run and living in fear for so long. This book was truly a celebration of her fight and her heart and everything she had done to put her self back together again. Getting to be with her as she did all of that and more, while also being with her as she waited her way through the ocean of feeling that she has for Evan was nothing short of perfection.
Combine all of that with how this author allows you to understand these characters deepest fears and worries and insecurities, while also showing how they basically give each other life and make each other stronger is incredible. It pulls your heart in something fierce, it invests you completely and deeply in their own individual journeys and what they are building together, and it has you desperate for every second with them. It has you ready for more. It has you eager to see how they will handle the many challenges that come their way on their road to finally being together. And boy do those to get some bumps in the road in this book, but the way that they handle them, the way that theyâre in it together, and the way that they give it their all with their whole heart for the chance to be with one another is truly beautiful. And itâs emotionally breathtaking in a way that will sear you to them and everything they give you.
Natasha Boyd once again brings you back to the world of the Mediterranean, to a group of people who are practically family, and to two characters who are truly destined to be with one another. They have seen each other through some of the hardest moments of their lives, and this book explores how They take that chance at what could be. And that chance scares them out of their ever loving minds, but you will love getting to be with them as they take that leap, as they see what could be, and as they put their hearts on the line one last time when it really really matters.
Evan and Andrea truly give you at all in this book and you will love them. Point blank you will love them and their journey and what comes to be with them. You will love the push and the pull that it takes to get there, you will love how they always keep each other on their toes in the most fantastically infuriating way, you will love how everything with them means so much more. You will love that itâs also real and true between them. You will love that they know the other is the one who changes everything. You will love how even in the hardest of moments for these two, it always comes back to them and what could be and their pull to one another. Couple that with the breathtaking level of emotion and vulnerability you get with them along the way, and you have just part of what makes this book so utterly outstanding.
Stolen English was the perfect follow up to Broken French and it has me BEYOND eager to get more stories from this world. Iâm going to need Natasha Boyd to keep writing in this world because it is a place I truly never want to leave. This world is full of life and vibrancy and memorable characters that on your heart fiercely and just the most amazing settings that will truly take your breath away. I am loving the world of these books and I really just want more. So please give us more Natasha Boyd, I beg of you!
I really donât have enough words to really capture what it was like to experience and read this book. This book and the way this author gives you these characters and their love story is why I am a romance reader. This book is the a pitta me of an incredible love story with a happily ever after that will melt you into a puddle of goo on the floor. And you will love it.
You will love every single second of how these characters bear their souls to one another. You will love how theyâre willing to fight like hell for one another even if it means they donât get to be together in the end. You will love how even through the hardest of moments these characters are with one another, they see each other, they feel everything for one another, and they are willing to do everything possible for the other at a chance at that happily ever after. You will love how that connection sparks and burns and builds and builds in the most glorious way till that moment of unforgettable explosion where all bets are off. You will love how everything with Evan and Andrea feels like so much more. You will love how they love one another, how they are with one another, and how they just truly respect one another.
Simply put, you will love them, you will love their love story, and you will love every single second you get with them in Stolen English.
Natasha Boyd once again delivers an epic and all feeling romance that will make you swoon, that will make you smile until your cheeks hurt, that will have you feeling every emotion possible, and that will just have you utterly in love with her characters and their love and journey to that happily ever after. She wholeheartedly invests you and everything her characters share and go through in the story, and she will have you in every breath of her words in this book as she delivers the romance your heart and soul needs. Through her incredible writing she gives you these characters in the most honest and real way, and then a way that will have you basking in every single second you get with them. Throw in some serious fun and spice along the way and you have the makings of one hell of a love story.
And really thatâs just scratching the surface of what makes this one of the best love stories and romance novels that I have read this year.
I love everything about this book and I cannot recommend it to you enough. Read this book, bask in this series, live these love stories with these characters. You will not regret it and in fact your heart will thank you for it because everything you get in this world with these characters through these stories and this authorâs words is nothing short of everything. It is what romance books should be and it continues to show again and again the talent this author has with the written word and with capturing and creating love. Iâm truly so thankful that I have the chance to read books like this because they make my romance reading loving heart so beyond happy and I canât say it enough.
Stolen English was beautiful perfection. It is a story about a woman who fights like hell for a second chance at life, and the knight in shining armor who is ready and willing to do whatever it takes to protect her, to be there for her, and to make sure every one of her dreams come true. It is a story of resiliency, heart and emotion, and so much admiration and adoration between these two. It is a story of two people who are truly destined for one another. It is a story of what happens when that leap of faith and that second chance at it all truly makes all the difference in the world. Because that chance, and that leap of faith? It can truly change the trajectory of your entire life and your love and everything if you allow yourself to have it⌠And Andrea and Evan are the epitome of that in this book.
They are everything, right along with their amazing love story.
So seriously, just read this book. Read it, love it, and love every single word of it. You will not regret it. Not one little bit. Read this entire series and better yet read every book by this author. You will love every single word she gives you, and you will love the epic an unforgettable love stories you get in this book, and an every other one of her books. A Wild Heart, an all-new single mom second chance standalone romance full of heat and emotion from USA Today bestselling author Amie Knight is available now!
I lost a huge piece of myself the day my husband was killed in action. In the months that followed, I felt like my grief would swallow me whole. My only solace was my daughter, whose bright light guided me through the darkest of times.
I never wanted to meet someone else. I vowed to never fall in love again, especially with a marine.
It was supposed to be no strings attached and for a while it was. But Weston Reevesâs grumpy soul called to my tortured one. Maybe it was the midnight rides on his bike or the way that only I could make him smile. He lit me up, set my body afire, and for the first time in five years made me feel alive.
Our relationship was probably the worst gamble Iâd ever taken. But my stupid, wild heart needed him, even if our love was destined to burn me to ashes.
Amie Knight continues to be one of my all-time favorite authors who consistently delivers some of the most exceptional stories that I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Her books own me heart and soul. They take hold of every single one of my emotions, allow me to feel and live and experience everything with her dynamic characters, and give me unforgettable love stories along the way. Her books are truly the best, and the way that she so thoughtfully and purposefully crafts her words elevates every one of her books and characters and moments to the next level.
Simply put, Amie Knight is an author who I can always count on to create a romantic, all-feeling love story that will blow me away from start to finish.
A Wild Heart was no different.
In fact, this might be my new favorite of all of her books because this storyâŚthis story was PHENOMENAL. It was deeply emotional and raw. It was spicy as hell. It was captivating in a way that felt so authentic and real. It was heartfelt in a way that truly made everything mean so much more. It was layered and so well put together that it had me crying and laughing and melting and utterly consumed from page to page. From beginning to end it created a reading experience and story that I will truly never forget and will honestly treasure forever.
A Wild Heart was everything and more.
I loved every single second and word and paragraph and moment that I got with Emily and Weston. Those two definitely know how to show you that a second chance at love is possible, and more than that, that a second chance at love can bring you everything you didnât even know you wanted if you keep your heart open to it. Those two definitely put you through the wringer a bit, but they also show you that they have to find their way to be together. They show you that they are two halves of a whole that needs to be put together for the rest of time. Those two have a very special way of showing you that they are meant to be.
Emily and Weston show you and themselves throughout the events of this book that they mightâve had an unconventional start, they might both be fighting the hurt and anguish of the past, they might both be fighting against whatâs building between them, and they might both be wondering what in the hell theyâre doing and if itâs all worth it, but they also show you that they are beyond worth it.
They show you that theyâre both worth fighting for.
They show you that they are about to turn each otherâs worlds upside down in ways they didnât even think were possible. .
They show you that a second chance at love can truly give you the world if you let it.
They show you that family and friendship are everything, and that those are the people who will pull you through even the darkest of days.
They show you that the one person you never expected, the one person you never even wanted, might just be the one person who can heal you and put you back together again.
They show you that what they feel and build and share together is nothing short of everything.
What I loved about Emily and Weston is they had both been through so much, so they both knew what was at stake. They both knew what was happening between them was so very real. (Even when they tried to deny it to themselves and others.) They were both fighting like hell to try to heal and keep it together, all while feeling something so true and vulnerable that it scared them out of their hearts. Throughout this entire book you get to be a part of their journey together as they heal from their pasts, as they see if a future together is possible, and as they feel every bit of that fiery pull and connection to one another that they just canât quit. (No matter how hard they might try.)
I truly canât get enough of this book and what I got with these dynamic and unforgettable characters. A Wild Heart is one of the best books I have read this year and will definitely be going down as one of my top reads of the year. Amie Knight wrote a book that lets her talent as an author and storyteller shine on every page, and that shows again and again that she is an author to be reckoned with. Her words truly owned every one of my emotions from start to finish, and she gave me a story that I will absolutely treasure for the rest of time.
This book checked all the boxes for me.
It was deeply and meaningfully emotional. It was exceptionally written and crafted in a way that felt so real, so true and honest, and in a way that seared my heart and soul to these characters. This book gave me two characters who fought like hell against what they felt, but who I also knew right from the start had to be together. This story gave me a relationship between a mother and a daughter that truly touched every part of my heart. This story gave me friends and family who were willing to do it all for those they cared about. This story gave me such fire between all of these characters and such glorious possibilities of what could be.
A Wild Heart made me feel like I was watching and experiencing the most mesmerizing firework display that could be. It was captivating as hell. It was full of glorious color and vibrancy. It was beaming with personality and life that left a tangible spark. It left me in awe and just ready for more. From start to finish I was enamored with it all and blown away by what those fireworks delivered with these characters.
It was truly the best.
This book brought me back to a world that I fell in love with so long ago. Itâs a world that brought me to Amie Knight and her writing, and itâs a world that I will forever be grateful for because of that. Amie Knight brings you back to the world of her Hearts Series in a way that is fresh, meaningful, and heartfelt. She finds the absolute best balance of giving you a new all-feeling love story and set of incredible characters, while also connecting into the stories and characters that have come before it that make this series what it is. The way that it all comes together equally makes it a great trip back to the most amazing world and series, while also being a phenomenal new chapter thatâs a great place to start for new readers.
I think that speaks to Amie Knight and what she creates with her stories and characters that you get all of that and more in this book. She truly leaves it all on the pages of this book and it makes for a love story that you will never want to have end. It makes for a love story that you will believe in with all that you have and that will have you knowing that that heart will get what they heart wants because there is no other possibility.
A Wild Heart was consuming, full of fire and connection, and had more emotion and heart than you can shake a stick at. It gives you Emily and Weston in the most authentic and meaningful way from start to finish, and I am telling you that you will love it and them. All of the dynamics and relationships and emotions explored in this book will pull you fiercely to these characters, and that is everything. Itâs really more than everything because this author just makes it all mean so much more, and honestly, this review is just scratching the surface of how much I love this book.
Amie Knight brings it all to this emotionally charged story of a second chance at love that will bring these characters everything they never thought was possible again. Through every turn of this page in this book you will fall deeper and deeper in love with them, what theyâre creating together, and what they do to one another. By the end of it all you will know in your heart and soul that they are the exact one the other didnât even know they were looking for, but that they so vehemently needed. When it all comes together, you will truly be in awe of the beauty and heart you get with these two and it will own you and all of your emotions. Trust me on that.

âI just came by to say that a couple of weeks ago was a mistake and it canât happen again.â I chewed on my bottom lip. What in the ever-loving hell was wrong with me? His lip twitched as I heard what sounded like a snort come from his nose. Then he turned away from me and headed back into his stupid garage. âDid you just snort at me?â I shrieked. This time he shook his head and chuckled low, completely ignoring me, and went back to work on his bike like I wasnât even there. And because I was completely insane, I followed him into that garage and stood a foot from him. âDid you hear what I said? I said it was a mistake. The whole thing. The entire night.â He nodded, not even looking up from his bike. âI heard you, babe.â I swung back on the heels of my sneakers. âWell, good.â I turned on those same heels to get out of there like the fires of hell were licking at them. âBut that ainât why you came all the way out here,â he said so lowly I almost didnât hear him. I turned, staring at him even as he continued to ignore me for tinkering with something on his bike. âExcuse me?â âYou heard me,â he said, standing up and finally looking at me. âYou didnât come over here just to tell a one-night stand the whole thing was a mistake.â He prowled toward me slowly, still cleaning his hands with that rag nonchalantly like he wasnât coming toward me like a lion stalking its prey. And Iâd somehow managed to corner myself in the back of his garage, as far away as possible from the garage opening. Still, I raised my chin and straightened my spine. âWhy the hell did I come all the way out here then?â I started walking myself backward even though I was putting on a brave face. Tell me. Tell me why I came all the way out here and give it to me. Make me forget. When heâd finally cornered me in the garage right next to what appeared to be the door to enter his house, he smiled like the cat that ate the canary and my skin prickled even as I felt my nipples harden beneath my shirt. Oh, God. He dropped the dirty rag and brought his hands up on either side of my head, caging me in against the wall. âCome on, baby.â He ran his nose down the length of mine and my breath caught. âWe both know why you came here.â I lifted my chin in pretend defiance when all I wanted to do was lick the seam of his gorgeous, supple lips. âHmmm, what did I come here for then?â I whispered, feeling dizzy and hot, a deep ache between my legs that Iâd never felt before. He smelled like motor oil and soap and God, it took everything in my power not to grind against his leg that was pushed between mine. He gave me a barely there smile that never quite met his eyes. âYou came here because you missed me,â he growled, moving further into my body even though Iâd thought we were as close as two people would get. My nipples rubbed against his chest and I could feel his heart beating against my own. Our breaths mingled as I trembled against him, but he was wrong. I hadnât missed him. But I had missed this. I gave him a smile of my own as I moved my hand between us and rubbed the hard length of him, squeezing at the base. âOh, honey, I havenât missed you a bit, but I have missed him.â A low chuckle echoed throughout the garage that sent goose bumps across my skin before, suddenly, my body was turned, my front pushed crudely against the wall until I was forced to turn my face to the side to avoid hurting my nose. I panted, my heart thundering wildly in my chest. He was right. This was what Iâd come for. The feeling of floating. Being weightless. The high of his body touching mine. The way it made me forget. The way it made me feel alive.

The world took everything from us. And we would stop at nothing until we took it all backâforever.
The Difference Between Someday and Forever, the much anticipated and stunning conclusion to The Difference Trilogy from USA Today bestselling author Aly Martinez is now live!
The world took everything from us.
As survivors of not only a plane crash, but two other impossible tragedies, weâd more than earned a life of peace. But time and time again, we were shown that fate had no intention of giving that to us.
Remi and I were soulmates. Plain and simple. Our love should have died in the depths of our darkness, but the sun still exists even when itâs not shining.
The secrets of our past threatened to destroy us at every turn, but for Remi, I would never stop fighting for our future.
The world took everything from us. And we would stop at nothing until we took it all backâforever.
There are so many things that I want to tell you about this book and the absolutely magnificent ending that Aly Martinez crafted for Bowen and Remi. I want to tell you everything. I want to tell you how this last book, this epic and unforgettable ending, delivered it all. I want to tell you about how this book made me cry, made me laugh, made me blush, how it literally stole my breath multiple times. I want to tell you all of the things that made this book and this trilogy absolutely amazing. I want to give you every single detail and more sol that makes this story one of the best stories that Iâve ever experienced.
I want to tell you everything, but I canât do that For a couple of reasons. One, because spoilers ainât cool. Two, because my words will never do this authors words justice. And they deserve every bit of damn justice for what Aly Martinez creates and gives you in this book and ending. And three, this ending is one that you just need to experience for yourself.
Trust me when I say that.
I am an ending person. There is just something so utterly spectacular about a good ending. When youâve spent a long amount of time with characters, when youâve been able to understand every piece of them, when you fall and heart first in love with them and just traveled and experienced it all with them, you want an ending that they deserve. You crave that satisfying conclusion that delivers everything. You desperately hope and pray that the author will bring together an ending that will give you everything and more that you needed with the characters you loved from the start.
Good endings are what I live for as a reader. A good ending is what makes my reader heart happy. They are one of the many reasons why I love a good series, and I knew coming into this last book of this trilogy that I wanted the most epic and emotional and unforgettable ending for Remi and Bowen. And let me tell you, I got the most perfect ending for those characters in this book.
What Aly Martinez so beautifully and breathtakingly and thoughtfully creates in this last book with them will truly blow you away. It will eviscerate all of your heart and emotions. It will simultaneously heal every broken piece of you and them as they fight for their love. It will keep you on the edge of your seat through every twist and turn that comes their way. It will have you in all of what you get with them, what you feel with them, what you come to understand and live and take in with them. It will deliver everything you didnât even know you needed with them. And I promise you it will also answer every single question youâve had about their story and their journey together.
I truly could not have asked for a more fitting an epic conclusion for Remi and Bowen. Those two are soulmates. Those two are complicated and amazing and messy and wonderful characters that have owned my heart from the very first page of this series. Getting to see the two of them face every hurdle, every heartbreaking moment, and every bit of in between, has just seared them to me. They have permanently burrowed themselves so deep in my heart, so to say that I needed them to get that ending they deserved, is literally putting it too mildly.
I needed EVERYTHING for them.
I needed them to heal. I needed them to get the answers they sought. I needed them to be okay. I needed them to believe in themselves and each other. I needed them to experience more of the beautiful and absolutely mesmerizing love that they gave one another. I needed them to get the happily ever after that they had fought so damn hard for.
I donât want to ruin anything about that ending that they so epically and magnificently give you, and I donât want to spoil anything, but let me just say⌠I was not disappointed in what I got with those two at all. Not one little bit. They delivered it all and then some, and they gave me an ending that was beyond worthy of their journey and story together.
What Aly Martinez has delivered and created in this epic trilogy is something I will never forget reading.
This trilogy is a story of two characters who have a literally been put through the wringer. Two people who are soulmates, who are the endgame we all root for, but who have what feels like insurmountable challenges in front of them. They go through it all in this series. They have to fight for it. They have to put their hearts on the line. They have to be willing to feel everything and give it all for the chance and experiencing the love that they share. Their story will break your heart. But it will also give you life. It will put you back together again. It will amaze you in every way with the depth of what they share and feel. And while it might not be easy and it might not always be pretty, it is beyond worth it. And it is one of the most epic and exhilarating and all feeling romances I have ever had the pleasure of reading.
This book allows you to feel everything with Remi and Bowen. It allows you to understand their choices, their motivations, their drive, and every facet of their hearts and souls. It allows you to remember again and again why you need them to be together and find that chance at a forever live after everything theyâve been through. It shows you on every page why they are meant to be and it reminds you that the level of what they feel for one another and the emotion of it all is so beyond beautiful and breathtaking and just utterly spectacular. Getting to experience and live that and practically touch all of that with them as they fight like hell for one another and their love is absolutely everything.
It truly is.
I really donât even have the right amount of words to accurately capture what Aly Martinez delivers in this final book. This story has kept me on the edge of my seat from the very start, it has made me cry all of the tears, and it has made me feel just about every emotion possible. There have been moments that have shattered me. Moments that have given me everything. Moments that have truly stolen my breath with what these characters go through and experience. Moments that have made me laugh my ass off and moment so full of joy and elation that you will feel the warmth and the happiness emanating from these characters and those moments. All of those moments come together in this final book to deliver the ending that these characters deserve.
I never couldâve asked for a better ending than what I got in this final book for Remi and Bowen, and the way that this author so thoughtfully and intricately brings together their story for this final chapter just reminds you again and again why they are meant to be, why they are truly soulmates, and why no matter what happens, those two will always find a way.
This book was the perfect conclusion for this absolutely mesmerizing and consuming love story, and it honestly was a shining example of why this author is one of the best authors Iâve ever had the pleasure of reading. The way that she crafts her words, the way that she allows you to live and feel everything with her characters, and the way that she pushes them as characters just as much as she pushes you through every moment of her story, lets her writing and storytelling talent shine. This author immerses you in this world for a final chapter that will make you feel everything under the sun, that will show you that soulmates are definitely real, and that will show you love can truly see you through anything and give you the world, if you keep yourself open to it and fight like hell for the chance to have it.
Remi and Bowen make this ending theirs and I promise that if you have loved every book in this trilogy, you will not be disappointed in this ending. Not one little bit. This author culminates the story in a way that you will never forget and in a way that will have you feeling everything well after you reach that last page.
I finished this book days ago and I still canât stop thinking about the ending and what I got with these characters. I still canât stop feeling the heart and the emotion and the meaning behind what they built and shared in this entire trilogy, but especially in this last book. And I especially canât stop loving every single thing about them.
Those two made me smile until my cheeks hurt, made me laugh so hard, shocked me to my core to the point that I literally lost my voice while reading their story because I was so taken with everything they threw my way. They made me cry so hard I hurt my sinuses, they physically hurt my heart, but they also put me back together again in a way that I will never forget. They showed me what it meant to feel everything, to love with your entire soul and being, and to fight with all you have for the chance at love and happiness and forever.
Aly Martinez so thoughtfully and magnificently crafted the perfect ending to a love story that I will never forget reading. This book captured the fire of these characters, every facet of their hearts and souls, and it emanated with one of the most epic and deep and true love stories that Iâve ever had the pleasure of reading. The way that it all comes together will blow your mind and your heart away, but will also have you knowing that youâve just read the most fitting ending to the most incredible love storyâŚand it doesnât get better than that.
Remi and Bowen will always own a part of my heart after what they gave me in this trilogy. They may have made me work for it, and they may have made me shed quite a few tears along the way with them, but they made it so beyond worth it. They are love and the possibilities of them and everything they give you is so beyond worth it. They are so beyond worth it.
Their love story is one of fate, heartbreak, spark, connection, every single emotion, and a hell of a lot of paperworkâŚ.and boy is it everything.
So much glorious everything that will give the world and them and their love.
In the end, getting that, feeling that, living and experiencing that, and just being in the presence of that and them and their epic, feel it in your bones and marrow of your soul, love, is the absolute best.
The. Absolute. Best.
Excerpt from The Difference Between Somebody and Someone
âSorry, is my mood killing your buzz?â I asked. Her blue eyes sparkled in the glow of the airplane reading light. âIt really is.â I shook my head and went back to mindlessly flipping the pages of a magazine Iâd bought at the terminal back in Colorado. Iâd picked it up with hopes it would be a distraction from the cyclone raging within me on our way back to Atlanta. The minute she ordered that drink, Iâd known it was a lost cause. Her hand came across the armrest and landed on my thigh. âBowen, stop. Itâs not a big deal.â It was the truth. Compared to everything weâd been through, our house could have been swallowed by a sinkhole and it wouldnât have been considered a big deal. Honest to God, I was lucky to still have her at all. It had only been nine months since weâd met, but weâd lived a thousand lives in that time. Unfortunately, that also meant weâd died almost as many deaths. Terrifying, tortuous, agony-filled deaths. Weâd also found love thoughâimmeasurable amounts of it. I stared down at her engagement ring. Iâd cashed out a huge chunk of my savings account and still had to open a line of credit with the jewelry store to buy the three-karat princess-cut ring. The payment was roughly the same as I paid for my truck each month, but the tears in her eyes as sheâd sat in her hospital bed, clutching it to her chest the day I proposed, made it all worth it. She was worth it. Every day, every tear, every worry-filled minute shaved off my life. Iâd do it all again. If only I werenât so helpless to save her. I loved that woman. Whole heart. Whole soul. Bend me, break me, crack me open and she would have been there. No matter how bad it got, she was always a part of me. I wasnât sure anymore if she could say the same. âBowen,â she whispered, just as sheâd done so many times before. It was a plea. One she knew Iâd answer no matter the situation. No matter how mad I got. No matter how much I feared losing her again. My gaze instinctively lifted to hers. She smiled and the sight caused an ache in my chest. It was a lie. God, I missed her smile. âBaby, Iâm okay.â She tilted her head to her drink. âI hate flying. Thatâs all this is.â That was a lie too. My shoulders fell and a loud breath tore from my burning lungs, but I let myself pretend, my mind going back to a time when it could have been the truth. I thought of the nights weâd shared multiple bottles of wine and made love, laughing and moaning under the covers until the sun crept across the horizon. Sheâd rested peacefully in my arms. No nightmares. No crying in her sleep. No insomnia. Just even breaths, her head on my shoulder, and her body wound around mine so tightly it was like a second skin. But that was the past. The unreachable, insurmountable past. The plane jerked, forcing me back to the present. âShit.â She moved her hand off my thigh to grasp her drink as it sloshed all over her. âCrap, crap, crap,â she chanted, using a cocktail napkin to dry the dark-red pool of tomato juice on her white pants. For a moment, I sat there and watched her struggle. It wasnât the most chivalrous thing to do, but I was all out of grand gestures. She unbuckled her seat belt and lurched to her feet, her phone along with a handful of ice cubes from her lap falling to the floor. âDamn, this is going to leave a huge stain.â The plane jerked again and she stumbled forward, crashing into the seat in front of her before I could catch her arm. âDammit, sit down before you get hurt.â Ignoring me, she bent over to fish her phone from under the seat. âHit the button for the flight attendant. I need some club soda and a lemon. STAT.â âNo, what you need is to sit down.â I gave her arm a tug and dragged her down to the seat. Using the tip of my boot, I swept her phone toward her. Aforementioned lack of chivalry aside, I was no contortionist; leaning over to pick it up was out of the question. She folded her upper body over my lap and blindly patted around the floor. I fought the urge to run my fingers through the back of her hair. In the beginning, it would have been a no-brainer. Iâd have curled forward and suggestively whispered in her ear, âSince youâre already down thereâŚâ She would have grinned up at me, her whole face filled with mischief as she traced a finger over my zipper, ignoring anyone who dared to watch her as she replied, âYou mean down here?â Iâd have grabbed her hand and made her stop even though I was the one who had started it. She had no filter. She always took it one step too far. Iâd loved that about her when weâd first met. It was fresh and exciting, a far cry from the stuffy women Iâd dated in the past. But now, she was in the past too. We were in the past.

The Difference Between Somehow and Someway, the jaw-dropping, sexy and intense second book in The Difference Trilogy from USA Today bestselling author Aly Martinez is now live!
The world gave me everything.
After surviving a plane crash, I was lucky to be alive. It was a harsh truth, but one that changed my perspective on how fragile life could be.
So when a fellow survivor caught my eye, I owed it to myself to take a chance and follow my heart.
Bowen Michaels was guarded and broody, but I saw through his well-formed armor. Much like me, he was broken and lost, but together we found our way through the darkness.
For a brief moment, wrapped in his arms, it felt like maybe he was right about fate and weâd been destined to find each other all along.
But when buried secrets of the past erupt, igniting us both, it was hard to believe weâd been fated for anything other than failure.
The world gave me everything. And then it took it all away.

*****MY REVIEW*****
5 Utterly Incredible Stars
I would like to start this review by saying that this book made me lose my voice for multiple days. You might be asking yourself in this moment, how did a book make you lose your voice? Well let me explain. Reading this book, getting so many gloriously emotional and unforgettable moments with these characters, getting more of the pieces of this puzzle that I desperately needed, while simultaneously asking about 50 bajillion more questions that I needed the answers to, had me yelling at this book.
Literally.
There were so many shocking turn of events, so many mind blowing reveals in this book, so many effing amazing emotionally breathtaking pieces brought together in this book that I literally lost my voice from how hard and loud I was screaming. Iâve never had that happen before from reading a book. Ever.
So suffice to say, I loved every single thing about this book.
I loved every single word of this continuation of Remi and Bowenâs absolutely consuming love story. I loved every ounce of emotion and feeling that Aly Martinez made me feel from the very first letter of this book through the very last period. I loved that this book kept me on my toes through every single page. I loved that I once again had no idea what this book would bring, yet I knew with every fiber of my soul that it would bring me one of the most amazing love stories Iâve ever read. I loved that my breath was literally stolen by this book and the shocks and the twists and the feels of it all. I loved the love. I loved the heartbreak. I loved the fact that this book puts these characters through the ringer with everything that comes their way. I loved that this book makes them work for it, but also simultaneously shows that they are beyond worth it. I loved that this story was once again so fully and truly and authentically Remi and Bowen.
I loved everything about this book. I truly cannot say that enough.
Aly Martinez is one of my favorite authors for a reason. She makes me feel everything in her books. She makes me cry. She makes me laugh my ass off. She makes me feel the tangible emotion of her characters. She keeps me hooked like thereâs no tomorrow, and she has me guessing at everything that is to come. Her writing allows for one of the most visceral and all feeling experiences that you will ever experience as a reader, and this trilogy encapsulate all of that and magnifies it. This book is everything Iâve ever loved about one of her stories, multiplied times a million.
It is just more. So much glorious more.
The way that you feel the story, the way you live it and breathe that and just practically take a hold of it is everything. The way that this author just allows you to be in the thick of it with these characters through their struggle, through their strife, through their second chances at it all, and through everything they put on the line is everything. The way that you are just in this story with Remi and Bowen, figuring out the puzzle just as they do, the way youâre sent reeling right along with them at what you get, and the way that youâre just left in awe by it all is everything. The way this author perfectly balances giving you that fiery intensity and connection, that spice that is on a whole different level, while also cultivating a romance that will sucker punch your heart and on your soul and emotions in every way possible, is absolutely everything.
What you get with Remi and Bowen in this continuation of their story is absolutely everything. Those to just take it to the next level. This book picks up right where the last one left off, and it has you right on that edge desperate to see what that next page will bring. Through it all you realize that these two have so much more ahead of them, so much to figure out, and so much to fix and make better, but you also know that they are resilient, that they are determined, that they are in it. Even in the hardest of moments, even in the midst of that struggle, and even in those moments when they are put through the ringer, they show you that they are worth it, they show you that their love is beautiful and meant to be, and they show you that they are the definition of soulmates. Coupled with the most eviscerating moments, that simultaneously give you the absolute best banter, that also simultaneously envelop you with in every crazy twist and turn in revelation that comes their way, makes for a book you will not be able to put down.
I was literally owned by this book. Like I said, it made me lose my voice because I was that invested in these characters and in the events of the story and in what I was feeling with them, and in how much I needed them to put the pieces of themselves and each other back together again. I just lived this book. As a reader there is nothing better than fully living and experiencing a story. The way that Aly Martinez allows you to do that in the first book, and just amplifies that even more in the second book, exemplifies her writing and storytelling talent. And the way that she just lets you be there with them, through thick and thin, through hardship and struggle, through highs and the sweetest moment, through everything in between, makes for one of the best books and stories that Iâve ever read in my entire life.
I seriously want to sit here and tell you everything about this book, but I also donât want to reveal anything about the story because you need to just experience it for yourself. Do not look too much into these reviews and ruin the reading experience with this author so authentically gives you with Remi and Bowen. This trilogy is a wild roller coaster ride in the best way. It hooks you, it consumes you, it owns every part of your mind and your heart and your very soul from the very first page.
The moment I started the second book, was the moment I already needed the third one because I have so many questions right now. I have so many questions and I cannot wait to get answers to. This author or not only keeps you hooked through all of those crazy twists and turns, but she also gives you one of the most deeply felt love stories between two very dynamic and complicated and real characters who could not be more meant to be.
Remi and Bowen are the real deal and you will absolutely treasure this continuation of their story and the moments you get with them.
Those two are the definition of soulmates. They are two characters who are ingrained in each others lives, who have imprinted on each otherâs hearts, and who own each otherâs souls. They show you in this book that they have a lot to figure out and process, that there is so much at stake here between them, and they show you that theyâre worth it. They show you through every second with them that every ounce of struggle, every bit of heartache, every moment that hurts them, also has them both knowing deep down that theyâre meant to be together. It has them knowing that theyâre worth the fight. It has them knowing that they have to figure this out because thereâs no way they canât be together.
This book will make you laugh, it will make you cry, it will probably have you losing your voice just like I lost mine because you will be so shocked by what you get and what is revealed in this book, and it will also just make you believe in the love that is coming to light on the pages of this book. The way that the story deepens and extends the love that you get with these characters from the first book and amplifies it even more in this book is just one of the things that makes it so absolutely incredible to read and experience. The way that this author just allows you to hit the ground running with these characters, and has you desperate for everything theyâre giving you is nothing short of everything. And simply put, the way that you are able to experience what you do with these characters will have you in every breath of this book and desperately ready for that final chapter that will reveal whatâs happened, the depth of what they share, and what is to come for both of them.
I really canât say enough good things about Remi and Bowen. Those two are something special. And when I say they are the real deal, I mean it with every part of my heart. Those two complete each other. Those two ignite each other. They make each other want more. They make each other want to be the best versions of themselves. They make each other question everything about themselves in the best way possible. They make each other want to fight for more of what they make one another feel. They make each other question their own sanity at times, but they also make each other feel everything.
Getting to see just how far these characters will go to save one another, to heal one another, to fight for one another, and two love one another is absolutely beautiful. It just shows you in every way possible why these two characters have to find a way to make it all work and get that happily ever after. And it will have you believing in the truth of them and in the depth of what they feel and share because they will make you believe in everything that they feel for one another. It might not be easy and it might not always be pretty, but it is them. It is heartfelt and honest, so beautifully authentic and layered, and it is one of the most deeply felt in epic love stories that Iâve ever read.
This book was the perfect second part to this trilogy that will go down as a favorite top read for me. This book answered so many of the questions that I had, it gave me so many of the moments I was desperate for, but it also made me want more. It made me need more. It made me crave every ounce of more that I could get my hands on. And when I tell you that I will be running to my Kindle the day that the third book drops, I mean that with every fiber of my being. I will be running to get this final part, to get more of Remi and Bowen, to get answers to the bajillion questions I still have, and to get more of this epic and deeply emotional love story that has addicted me in every way possible.
I cannot recommend this trilogy enough. It is Aly Martinez at her best. The story is epic, it is beautifully emotional, deeply consuming, phenomenally layered and crafted, and it will have you yelling at your Kindle, feeling it all, crying all of the tears, while simultaneously swooning and melting and just loving what you get with these characters. Throw in some fantastic banter and a plot thatâll have you feeling like youâre on the most exhilarating roller coaster ride of your life, and you have this book and this story.
The way that all of those pieces come together in this book adds to the entire puzzle that is this trilogy in a way that will just own you. And you will love it. So very very much.
I cannot wait for the conclusion of the epic trilogy. I cannot wait for more Remi and Bowen. I cannot wait for everything I know these characters will deliver in the finale of this absolutely magnificent trilogy. Aly Martinez has outdone herself once again, and while I know that Iâve used all of the words to tell you how amazing this book and this trilogy are, just know that my words are not even close to enough to capture what youâll get in the story with Remi and Bowen.
So just do yourself a favor and read these books. Go in blind, read them, live them, feel at all, live through this epic and unforgettable romance, and just embrace it all. It will have you feeling all of the feels, smiling so hard your cheeks hurt, and just in awe of what this author captures and creates through her words. And in the end it will have you desperate for every single part of this story and what you get with these characters.
Also, maybe get yourself a lot of drinks while you read this book. It will help you to not lose your voice like I did from all of the feelings and all of the yelling youâll be doing at the twists and the craziness and the reveals of this book. But also trust me when I say that you will be so enthralled and ecstatic over the fact that you feel so much with this book and what it gives you and what it reveals that you will literally yell at it and lose your voice. I know thatâs how I felt for days after finishing this book and I honestly wouldnât have it any other way. Because if you can read a book that makes you feel everything so much and so truly and deeply that you lose your voice because of what that book made you feel, well then that is one hell of a book. And let me tell you, this is one hell of a book and you NEED it in your life. This very instant.

The Difference Between Somehow and Someway, the second book in the moving and captivating The Difference Trilogy from USA Today bestselling author Aly Martinez is now live!
