This blog came about in my desire to find another way to discuss my ever growing addiction and all-consuming love of books and reading. To read more about myself proclaimed book “addiction”, feel free to check out my very first post on this blog: They Say Step One is Admitting You Have a Problem

If we’re being honest, it also came about from my desire to find a way to keep talking, because I also thoroughly enjoy doing that. Just ask my mother, or anyone else who knows me.

I have simple goals for this blog. I just want it to be a place to discuss some of the great books I am reading, as well as some of my well-loved favorites. The posts I create will hopefully discuss some great books, but don’t worry I will try valiantly to never reveal anything majorly plot wise.

(That shit ain’t cool. Seriously people, stop doing that.)

I’m hoping this blog will also serve as recommended book list of sorts for all those looking. I won’t claim to be an expert on books or reading, but I do love to read tremendously. It is one of my biggest passions, and believe me, passionate people mean business.

People have even been known to ask me for book recommendations on occasion, but that’s it’s own little Pandora’s Box, since you never know what you’re gonna get from me.

Just take a look at what happened when my friend Aubrey asked for some simple book recommendations. This is what she got:

I am hoping The Never Ending Book Basket will basically be like that book list you see above: full of great books, full of fun and a little bit of crazy, and full of books that will take you on an experience you will never forget. This blog may also serve as a way to discuss any of the random ideas related to books that I may have, because God knows I love me some randomness.

Be forewarned as well that I like to add a little humor into everything that I do, so be prepared for that humor/sarcasm/ridiculousness to seep its way into every single one of my posts.

I will also take this time to let you know my posts will typically be longer than the norm. That’s my schtick, and I’m sticking with it. I like to talk.  A lot. Especially when it comes to books. So my posts on here will likely never be a few mere sentences. That’s just not me. But I do promise that I will do my very best to make sure everything on this blog is worth your reading.
